The full kitchen opens onto the bar, the bar onto the dining table, and the table onto the lake. Fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and tableware for six: dinner has a way of stretching on.

The experience

A day by the lake

The day doesn't start with an alarm: it starts when the sun comes through the glass and the lake is already there, perfectly still.

Morning

Coffee or mate on the veranda, the water below, the birds going about their business. Nobody hurries anybody.

Afternoon

The pool, a nap, a slow walk along the shore or a boat ride. As the light drops, the lake turns gold: here the sun sets across the water, not behind you.

Evening

A fire in your own barbecue, the long table set inside or out, and a silence so complete you can hear it.
